Making lemons into lemonade.
After losing her job to the pandemic, former Visual Merchandiser, Laiana Lewis decided to put her creativity into physical form. She began working with polymer clay in early 2021, and quickly fell in love with how limitless the meduim was. Always a lover of abstract statement jewelry, she decided that earrings were a perfect way to launch her very own black owned brand, NORAE HANDMADE.
She is and has always been a woman for the people, so it was very important that if she were to start a business, it would be inclusive Her pieces are designed and executed in house with each pair being the very essence of unique. You will not find any pair that are two of the exact same here! She hopes that if nothing else, she can create eccentric jewelry that stands apart and makes the wearer feel like they are wearing art.
